RESIDENCY PROGRAMME

Spreepark Art Space Residency Programme

Since its launch in 2024, the Spreepark Art Space residency programme has offered artists from Germany and abroad a space for artistic research at the intersection of art, landscape and public space – with the former Spreepark amusement park as a unique place of transformation. In addition to international residencies in 2024 and 2025, which were awarded via open calls, Spreepark Art Space has been organising and curating the residency programme since 2026 in close collaboration with a rotating group of partner institutions.

Ecological Futures, a joint initiative by ARCH+ and the Goethe-Institut, forms the basis for a two-year partnership offering three residency periods per year. The international project Urban Streams was realised in collaboration with four EUNIC partners: the British Council, the Finland Institute, the Embassy of Ireland and the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia. Spreepark Art Space is also collaborating with the Academy of Arts as part of the exhibition ‘Metaxy: Between Destruction and Reconstruction’.
