Open Studio – Ecological Futures
What does it mean to think about ecological futures in a place like Spreepark—a site that is itself in transition? Between its past as an amusement park, its present transformation, and its open-ended future, the park becomes a space for artistic research, exchange, and new perspectives.
As part of the international residency Ecological Futures, we warmly invite you to join our Open Studio. On April 18, the artists will open their workspaces in Spreepark and at the Eierhäuschen, offering insights into their ongoing projects.
The residency is a collaboration with ARCH+ and the Goethe-Institut, bringing together international artists and researchers who engage with questions of environment, urban space, resources, community, and sustainable ways of living. Their work spans artistic research, spatial practices, and socially and ecologically engaged approaches.
In an open and informal setting the Open Studio is an opportunity to meet the artists, explore these diverse practices, ask questions, and engage in direct exchange with the residents.
At the same time, visitors are invited to discover the Eierhäuschen as a unique site within Spreepark and gain insights into the current exhibition by the 2025 residents and park’s ongoing transformation.
Free admission. No registration required.
