Đặng Thùy Anh
Đặng Thùy Anh is a visual artist currently living and working in Hanoi. She graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 2019 with a degree in Graphic Design. Since 2017, she has increasingly engaged in experimental artistic practices through performance art events and has explored a range of media, including installation, video and conceptual approaches to art-making.
Her work centres on the relationship between humans and nature, stereotypically perceived visual motifs, and the impact of social prejudice on constructions of gender. Thùy Anh frequently uses living organisms, natural materials, her own body and personal archives as artistic media.
