Weed Gelateria by wild seed

What makes a plant a weed? Who decides which plants are useful, which are beautiful, and which are considered invasive?

As part of the regional residency at Spreepark Art Space, wild seed has created a weed archive for the Spreepark. To this end, we have explored with curiosity which plants grow along the wayside, what stories they tell, and what forms of attention, knowledge, and collaboration they can inspire.

This research has led to experiments and recipes that we’d like to share with you at the wild seed ice cream bar FLORA NON GRATA. Here you can try sorbets made of wild plants found in the Spreepark, learn more about the plants, and take home some refreshing inspiration.
