wild seed archiv kitchen

Seasonal assembly of vegetation, time and terrain in 11 courses

Can we collect speculative narratives of the future in a lettuce leaf, aka a ‘carrier bag of fiction’? Which overlooked, forgotten and suppressed voices of plants, landscapes and creatures of Spreepark do we want to invite to our table to negotiate these futures? And can a menu make artistic research materially tangible?

The wild seed archive kitchen activates botanical memories and artistic processes resulting from a two-year local residency in Spreepark and the surrounding urban wilderness. You are now invited to taste and experiment.
In this site-specific 11-course performance, we encounter: Japanese knotweed, foraging walks, nettles, fermentation processes, magnolia blossoms, artistic scores and experimental designs, fewflowered garlic and gastrofeminism. Invasive species become collaborators. Microbes, spores and mycelia help shape each course.

The closure of wild seed's Spreepark residency becomes a public experimental kitchen and composes new narratives between vegetation, time and terrain.
