The artist collective Imperfect Futures presents Ongoing Conversations, a site-specific intervention on the temporary fence surrounding the former Werkhalle of the Spreepark. Previously installed at intervals along the perimeter fence of the park for the duration of the Hidden Realities exhibition (from 16 March - 15 June 2025 at Spreepark Art Space / Eierhäuschen), under the title Conversations on the Fence, the banners put forward prompts for conversations about the park, as it currently sits in partial states of waiting and reconstruction. 

Through the site-specific intervention, the questions on the banners attempt to respond to and provoke conversation on the power dynamics at play in shaping the narrative(s) of the park, its past, present and future: questions on the reliability of memory, the power dynamics at play in designing public space, conversations on futurity, time and the return of nature. Designed in the form of a double or lenticular image, the banners present the multiple realities the collective encountered during their three-month residency at Spreepark Art Space in the summer of 2024, that of the park and its wildlife, in a simultaneous state of being and becoming.
