Curatorial Tour of the Exhibition "A Place to Stay"
Followed by a walk to Iván Argote’s bridges in the Spreepark
After work, why not leave the city and wind down with some art in a lush green setting? On two separate occasions, Katja Aßmann and Nina Sperling, respectively, will be guiding you through Iván Argote’s exhibition and permanent works in the Spreepark. The tour will begin indoors, then take you past the exhibition's outdoor sculptures before leading you deeper into the park construction site to Argote’s ensemble of bridges, "Bridges Spreepark".
You’ll gain insights into the artist’s work, his “Activissime” project, and why Argote’s bridges also embody the principle of "radical tenderness". Along the way, you’ll learn interesting facts about the Spreepark and the process behind the creation of these permanent works.
