MEMORIES WANTED!

We invite you to reminisce with us about past amusement park times while enjoying popular carnival snacks.

Sunday, 10 September and Sunday, 17 September

10:00 - 20:00, Spreepark am Eierhäuschen, Kiehnwerderallee 2, 12437 Berlin

Installation, talks, Spree rides, workshop

Dive into the eventful past of the Spreepark with us. We will collect personal memories, whether they are anecdotes, stories, photos, admission cards or postcards. These stories will become part of the narrative(s) about the former amusement park and will flow into the exhibition Past Pleasure - Vergangenes Vergnügen (AT), which will be shown in the new exhibition rooms in the Eierhäuschen in autumn/winter 2024. Those with a very special story to tell can be interviewed by author Anne Waak on a ride in Futuro13 on the Spree.

The former workshop, where rides used to be repaired and where numerous relics from amusement park times are now stored, will also be a window into the history of the site. The gable wall of the hall is designed by the artist collective Constructlab and provides insights into the past and present of the park.
