Kıvanç Yalçıner

Kıvanç Yalçıner is a cultural organiser and producer based in Ankara, Türkiye. He studied journalism and works at the intersection of film festivals, accessibility, civic participation, and the transformation of public spaces into inclusive cultural commons. 

In 2013, he co-founded Puruli Culture & Art and initiated the Accessible Film Festival, of which he has been the director since 2023. With Puruli, he is part of the curating team of the EU Human Rights Film Days and was involved in Çekirdek Eskişehir, a participatory reuse project. 

He continues this work at Esat Hâl, a former neighbourhood market and car park in Ankara being repurposed as a participatory cultural commons, where Puruli is now based.
