Koplimets’ work revolves around themes such as urban space, fear, prejudice, and climate change. He is driven by a desire to understand patterns in human behaviour and sociopolitical processes. His works often centre on a story, case, or phenomenon through which he seeks to offer the viewer a narrative-like experience. His recent projects explore (future) technologies, the fears associated with them, and their relationship to climate change.
