Anne Waak

Anne Waak studied Literature, Etudes Féminines and Cultural Journalism in Berlin and Paris. She works as a journalist and author for newspapers, magazines and cultural institutions. Her podcast „Sibylle Bergemann. The Woman Behind the Pictures“ for the Berlinische Galerie was nominated for the DigAMus Award of the German Museums Association in 2023. Anne Waak has published a number of books, including the photo book ‘Aus einem Land vor unserer Zeit. Die Kinder von Kleinwelka’ (berlinartbooks 2022, together with Janne Gärtner).
