Anna Saint Pierre

Anna Saint Pierre is a designer, engaged in research projects focused on demolition materials. With a background in textile design, she completed her PhD on recycling architectural waste at the École des Arts Décoratifs laboratory in Paris. Using experimental approaches, she explores architectural heritage aspects by transforming and reintegrating rubble on-site. In extension to her PhD, her current work explores the idea of « textilisation » as means of developing new modes of transmission. How such rubble could be appropriated through textile processes to give life to new architectural surfaces?
