HOUSE RULES
We are delighted to welcome you to Spreepark Art Space. In order to meet the needs of all visitors and ensure the safety of the artworks, we need to follow a few rules. The house rules are mandatory for all visitors. By entering the building, visitors agree to abide by them.
I. Reciprocal Respect
Spreepark Art Space has a zero-tolerance policy for sexism, racism, ableism (discrimination against people with disabilities) or any other form of discriminatory behavior. We do not tolerate sexual harassment, bullying or abuse of power. The Spreepark Art Space team is always available to address complaints or concerns of any nature.

III. Admission
Admission is free of charge for all visitors.
IV. Maximum Room Capacity
The maximum capacity of our exhibition spaces is 50 people. However, this capacity varies depending on the exhibition and is either indicated by corresponding signage on site or will be communicated by the Spreepark Art Space welcome team.
V. Restricted Access
Please note that the top floor and administration rooms as well as the elevator inside the building are for authorized persons only. The toilets on the first floor are available to all visitors, with the exception of those marked for staff. A barrier-free toilet is also available.
VI. Groups
Groups of 10 people or more should register in advance to ensure that your visit runs smoothly. Confirmed groups will have priority admission. Please note that Spreepark Art Space events and guided tours take first priority. For safety reasons, the maximum group size is generally 20 people. Different regulations may apply for specific exhibitions.
VII. Behavior Within the Exhibition Spaces
Coming into contact with sensitive works of art and cultural assets requires extra care and protective measures to avoid damage. It is not only important to preserve the exhibits but also to show consideration for other visitors.
- The Spreepark Art Space welcome team will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the content of the exhibition or any general concerns you may have during your visit.
- Please do not touch any objects unless this is clearly permitted. The safety distance of at least 50 cm from the artworks must be maintained, unless another safety distance applies, which will be indicated in the room.
- Necessary mobility assistance may be taken into the exhibitions. Access to the Spreepark Art Space is barrier-free and the lift in the entrance area is self-service. Please contact the welcome team for assistance if required.
- Bulky or sharp-edged objects, umbrellas, walking sticks, large bags and rucksacks (larger than DIN A4) may not be taken into the exhibition rooms. Lockers are available in the waiting area.
- For safety and preservation purposes, jackets, coats and wet outerwear may not be taken into the exhibition rooms.
- It is not permitted to eat or drink in the exhibition rooms.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the exhibition rooms.
- With the exception of trained guide dogs, pets may not be brought into the exhibition rooms.
- Cell phones must be switched to silent mode in the exhibition rooms. Making phone calls is not permitted inside the exhibition rooms.
- Laser pointers and selfie sticks are not permitted.
- Supervisors are responsible for the appropriate behavior of children and young visitors.
- Emergency exits must be kept clear at all times. In the event of a fire, please follow the emergency exits to the outside.
- All visitors are liable for any damage they cause in accordance with applicable regulations.
VIII. Temporary Closures
The exhibition rooms may be temporarily closed during renovation work. We will do our best to announce such closures well in advance.
IX. Photography and Filming
The commercial use of recordings requires written permission from the Spreepark Art Space management. Please contact us at hello(at)spreepark-artspace.berlin.
X. Supervision Staff
The supervision staff are instructed to monitor compliance with the house rules. Please follow their instructions. Failure to do so may result in being banned from the premises.
