Create your own poster: solidarity with the endangered species of Berlin
Drop-in workshop with Merle Richter
In their artworks, the artist duo Böhler & Orendt reflect on the impact of humans on our planet. At the exhibition DOOM SNOOZERS, you will encounter stories of animals and trees reacting to the destructive, selfish actions of humans on Earth.
In the artwork Forlorn Flowers Frenzy by Böhler & Orendt, various endangered animals such as the Honshu wolf, the smoky gray flying fox and the northern white rhinoceros are gathered to demonstrate and holding up signs in protest for extinct plants.
In Berlin of and around Spreepark there are endangered species as well. Let’s join the animals in their protest and design posters for the endangered species that inhabit Berlin. We will be trying some printing techniques out with different materials such as styrene plates.
