Stefan Tankov
Stefan Tankov is an artist and designer from Skopje, North Macedonia. Trained as an architect at the Faculty of Architecture, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, his interdisciplinary practice spans spatial interventions, graphic design, cultural projects, and artistic research.
Tankov has contributed to projects ranging from design work to large-scale cultural initiatives, including ReCulture, a three-year transformation of a museum in Novi Sad, Serbia, encompassing visual identity systems, exhibition design, and spatial interventions. He is also involved in the communal and participatory work of AKTO, exploring the relationship between culture, public space, and civic engagement.
Drawing on experiences such as the European Architecture Students Assembly (EASA), his work is informed by an ongoing interest in geometry, perspective, shared participation, and the ways visual, spatial and even auditory systems shape the collective experience.
